GuardianOS provides true NTFS file system security to flawlessly integrate with Microsoft Windows Active Directory. Having this integration allows security access lists (ACLs) to be set on the SnapServer improving security and unwanted access to your data.
DYNAMICRAID
GuardianOS DynamicRAID allows for the instantaneous reduction and expansion of your RAID array to accommodate your storage needs. Simply add more drives and through the interface expand the current RAID array immediately increasing your storage capacity.
EXPANSION CAPABILITIES
The XSR122 can easily add expansion units to the base unit allowing for a continual growth of storage capacity. Used along with DynamicRAID you can easily expand storage in a simple, effective way.
REPLICATION
SnapServer offers two methods for backup and replication. Enterprise Data Replication (EDR) allows for backup, replication, or distribution between existing SnapServer units or end-point devices such as desktop computers. Enterprise Continuous Replication (ECR) allows for near real-time replication between multiple SnapServer units.
