BakBone NetVault: Backup Workgroup Edition software is integrated into GuardianOS version 5.0 and higher*. This powerful backup and restore software delivers heterogeneous data protection through enterprise-class functionality that scales to meet the demands of any sized environment - from a simple workgroup to a central office data center.

The BakBone NetVault: Backup Workgroup Edition is included with Snap Server 410, 520, 620 and 650 systems. It supports Windows, Linux, Mac, and UNIX clients and has the ability to backup and restore data from up to 5 clients to 4 single tape drives that are locally attached to the Snap Server. You will also receive a free upgrade to a 500GB Virtual Tape Library (VTL) license, making the Snap Server an optimal backup-to-disk destination.

BakBone NetVault: Backup functionality can be expanded to accommodate your environment by adding optional packages to support more clients on the network, protect 24x7 application servers, and backup to tape libraries. The BakBone licenses and add-ons available from Overland Storage are:

*Note: While BakBone NetVault: Backup Workgroup Edition has been included in prior versions of GuardianOS; BakBone Bundles, Options and Application Plug-in modules available from Overland Storage require BakBone NetVault: Backup version 8.1 which requires GuardianOS 5.0 or later.
